Drone Testing, Reinvented

At Baltic Ghost Wing, we’re here to answer the question every drone developer asks: “Is it ready?” Whether you’re a startup breaking into the scene or an established brand, we run your drone through its paces with testing that’s as intense as it is insightful. Think of it as a proving ground where no feature gets a free pass.

Want feedback? You’ve got options. Keep it private and refine in peace, or go public and let our 75,000 followers on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok see what your tech is all about. (Yes, we’ll make it look good.)

Your Drone. Real Challenges. No Fluff.

This isn’t a “plug it in and hope for the best” situation. You can fly your drone yourself, or we’ll hand the controls to one of our Ukrainian expert pilots or other seasoned operators. Then, we crank up the difficulty: simulate man-made and natural harsh conditions. All of this happens in our massive 50 km² testing zone, designed to mimic the unpredictable, high-pressure environments your drone will face in the real world.

It’s making sure your drone earns its wings. Ready to see what your tech is made of? Let’s fly

At Baltic Ghost Wing, we strive to emulate the excellence of Marques Brownlee, known online as MKBHD, in the drone industry. Just as MKBHD delivers in-depth, unbiased tech reviews, we provide comprehensive drone evaluations that are both informative and engaging. Our goal is to set a new standard in drone testing, offering insights that empower enthusiasts and professionals alike.

We also test UGV, USV, UUVs at our other ranges…

    Standard Proving Ground Review

    starting at 3500€

A standard gauntlet is a rigorous, predefined testing framework designed to evaluate the performance and resilience of drones across key operational scenarios. Developed from extensive experience in commercial, dual-use, and defense fields, the gauntlet varies based on the type and intended use of drones, ensuring relevant and meaningful challenges for each category.

For FPV (First Person View) drones, the focus includes high-speed navigation and obstacle-rich environments. Fixed-wing drones are tested for endurance, stability in crosswinds, and efficient long-range flight. VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) drones undergo trials to assess their ability to transition seamlessly between vertical and horizontal flight modes, while rotorcraft are evaluated for hovering stability, payload management, and precision in confined areas.

The gauntlet incorporates universal stressors like adverse weather conditions, adverse electromagnetic conditions, terrain challenges, and atmospheric conditions ensuring all drones are tested against realistic challenges. By holding every platform to the same high standard, the gauntlet delivers reliable results and ensures readiness for real-world applications.
